My parents always called me a banana boy. So, I've decided to share with the world my adventures toward becoming completely "White-Washed." Now won't you please join me on a little journey?! After all, I did say please :p

I know I’m a few days late, but it was a VERY hectic week. 3 prelims and a bunch hw assignments later, I’m ready to tumblr about our nation’s veterans. Those of you who know me, know I was “raised” in quite a patriotic household. part of it was probably the fact that i loved wearing my boy scout uniform, but there was always something that resonated with me whether it be a flag day ceremony or a veteran’s day ceremony. As i stood there at attention listening to my godfather, who is also a veteran, play taps, it’d send shivers down my back. still to this day when i hear those eeire 24 notes sounded i get goosebumps. If i, a naive boy of 19, get emotional about hearing the song, imagine how a mother, father, wife, or child feels remembering that song being the final sound heard at their loved one’s funeral. That being said, I think people need to think twice before they speak out against wars. Sure, the ideals behind them might be wrong, heck even the soldiers themselves might not agree with being overseas. But, so long as there are american soldiers fighting on behalf of our country, i say you support, if not the war then, them. because at the end of the day, they’re fighting and risking their lives so you dont have to! Thank you, Servicemen and women.
