My parents always called me a banana boy. So, I've decided to share with the world my adventures toward becoming completely "White-Washed." Now won't you please join me on a little journey?! After all, I did say please :p

Post

Wintertime is upon us.

Now, now, for those of you who hate people who freak out about snow don’t worry I won’t do that. Mostly because it’s not snowing. But on a serious note, winter is in the air, I can smell it and feel it in my bones. Walking into my room on the way home from class, my nose is pink, a little runny and I have rosy cheeks. What makes it even more exciting is the fact that it’s my first winter in Ithaca. I know I’m probably going to regret saying this in oh… probably two three weeks, but firsts are SO exciting. It’s part of like a greater experience and Frigid winters are an important part of any Cornellian’s time here at Cornell. I’m ready, I hope, for the next few months of living in an arctic tundra.

Aside from the college experience, I don’t know, there’s just something about the winter season that I LOVE. Maybe its the lights, maybe its the warm homey feeling thats around, and dont even get me started on the constant smell of delicious treats coming from most, traditional kitchens :D. (thats right people, i live in AMERICA home of the free, land of the obese! and im MIGHTY proud of it, especially during this time of year with cookies around by the platterful!) As corny as it sounds, though, I love seeing those commercials of an entire family just huddled around a warm fireplace, bundled up enjoying each other’s company. In fact, I sorta just got to experience that this past weekend and let me tell you, there’s not many words that can describe it. But, one that immediately comes to mind is Perfect.

Anywho, I got to thinking and for all of you out there who actually read this (by my latest count its like 6, well 5 seeing as Erin is in charge of 2 of my followers’ accounts) just enjoy this holiday season, and I know im a bit early but, and im sorry for another cliche, just take full advantage of everything you’ve got, because you don’t know when it’ll be gone forever.

Until I post again, God Bless =) (im not gonna steal from Tiny Tim and say ‘us, everyone!’)
